Summer 2011 @ Blue Jaz Resort
Its summer time here in the philippines and since my husband got a week vacation, we decided to spend 2nights 3days in davao. Going to Davao by bus usually only takes 6 hours but during our trip it took us 8 hrs. It is best to travel @ night time so you can really maximize your time going around the city and its beauty spots. Leyna had a great time @ Blue Jaz Resort, Samal Island. We visited this resort because of their giant pool slide but was not able to try cause it was under repair. Kids would also enjoy cause they also have a smaller version of the pool slide and kiddie swimming pool. We did not to bring any food and decided to just order on their resto. Their food taste great. What I also like about this resort is its surrounding is very clean even on their changing room. They really have enough personnel to attend to your needs. My husband and I agreed that we will go back there again very soon.... :)

Kinder 1 Moving up ceremony
It was Leyna's day yesterday.... It was their moving up ceremony. She got 3 awards namely: math/science, com. arts and most cooperative. I am really proud of her accomplishments in school.
She was so happy yesterday because her grandparents also witnessed the event and after which we went to the city to celebrate. I thought her grandparents had some errands to do but we went to the city just to make leyna's day complete.
Congratulations again langga... You made mommy and daddy very proud of you.

SY 2010-2011 is officially over!
Last wednesday was the last day of leyna's exam! (whew!!!) Which would mean .... it will also be my break in sending her to school everyday.... (hehe). Leyna has been mentioning that she will soon be on Kinder 2 and kinda excited with even just that thought of it at the moment. Can sense that she wants to grow up fast..... (huhuhu). Well, part of raising a child..... and soon.... she will have a mind of her own....
Anyway, monday and tuesday for leyna would just to be in school for the practice of their moving up ceremony which will happen on wednesday. I dont know what award (if there's any, hehe) she will receive but am still thankful that she has finished this school year. I would like to thank the OLLES (Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School, Camp Phillips, Bukidnon, Phils.) Nursery/Kinder Teachers and Assistant Teachers (Ms. June, Ms. Laila, Ms. Sharon, Ms. Neneng, Ms. Hilde) for their patience and support in teaching the kids. Again my greatest thanx....

Leyna's Zip Line experience with her dad
Hello everyone! It has been over a year since my last article and have promised myself to write again. Here it is..........
My sister Lea from HK has always been planning to visit the Dahilayan Zip Line and Park here in Bukidnon, PH everytime she comes home for a vacation but because of a very hectic and short stay the plans of going there was always postponed. Fortunately, on her last Feb vaca we were able to go and experience the adventure. The original plan was only my husband and sister will ride since i've already experienced it before when my cousin from NZ also visited last year. By the time we arrived at the park, my daughter Leyna has kept on telling us that she wants to ride the zipline too. At first I was a bit reluctant for her to ride cause I was afraid she might not be able to handle the adrenaline but she was persistent and since her dad and aunt will be riding with her, we gave in to her request. While the attendant was putting on her harness, she was very excited and was still had a very wide smile but by the time she was hanging on the line she had a very serious face and was holding on dearly. I was waiting for her to tell us that she wants to back out but she never did! (waaahhh!!! brave girl!)
When they arrived, she kept on telling us that she wants to ride again (hehe) I really admire her braveness and have never thought she DID IT and wants to do it again! Really really brave......

Nursery Week Celebration
Leyna school celebrated nursery week. There have been activities which showed their ability and capabilities as nursery students. The highlight was this morning where they all danced. Each kinder level presented a dance which showcased some of the dances from different countries.
Activities like these makes her look forward to attend school everyday and never want to miss.

Christmas '09
Christmas is already here... The day before christmas was spent at my father's farm. My siblings and families where all present and had lunch together. It was really nice that my sisters' eldest son and youngest daughter was also able to spend it with us and since their mom is in thailand working and still in the process of working out her visa. After our lunch at the farm, we went straight at my brothers' house and waited for midnight to arrive, but we all fell asleep and woke up only with the sun brightly shining and in time for us to go to church at 6am. After church we all had breakfast and is planning to go to my aunts house today at 11am.... will be bringing updates later....
Merry christmas everyone!!!
